MONAGHAN BUSINESSMAN TO REPLACE FF SENATOR ON MONAGHAN CO COUNCIL
Monaghan Town businessman Raymond Aughey has been selected by the Fianna Fáil organisation in North Monaghan to replace Senator Robbie Gallagher on Monaghan Co Council. Mr Aughey was unopposed at the selection convention held in Monaghan’s Four Seasons Hotel on Monday night last. Clones-based Mike Durkan, who had unsuccessfully contested the February General Election for FF in Cavan/Monaghan, withdrew his candidacy. U3A WALKING FESTIVAL
Monaghan U3A walkers and friends in happy mood in the Monaghan sunshine as they depart for the Greenway and Rossmore Park on the first day of their 2 day walking festival.
