MONAGHAN HAS LEAST ROAD FATALITIES TO DATE IN 2018

Figures released recently by the RSA show that a total of 87 people died on Irish roads up to the end of July this year, with Monaghan being the only county in which there were no fatal road traffic accidents. The news was welcomed by Adrian O’Sullivan, Road Safety Officer for Monaghan County Council. “The reduction of fatalities to zero in County Monaghan is great news for everyone,” Mr O’Sullivan stated, “but there can be no room for complacency as road safety is an ongoing….
