Patient Taken to Cavan Hospital

A Tydavnet man whose wife’s funeral had taken place on Monday was conveyed to hospital in Cavan yesterday morning by air ambulance after being taken ill at his home.

The Air Corps helicopter was called out by the National Ambulance Service to Doogary. The Augusta Westland AW139 aircraft landed around 10am in a field close to the house of Patsy McKenna.
