CONNOLLY CALLS FOR EMERGENCY CARE ON THE BORDER TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE BREXIT

At Monday’s meeting of Monaghan County Council, Independent Councillor Paudge Connolly brought up the case of a local constituent who travelled from County Monaghan to hospital in Craigavon because it was quicker than going to a hospital in the Republic, after a medical emergency. Cllr. Connolly told the meeting that the patient had received medical advice not to leave the hospital.
