MONAGHAN COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL RAISES €50,000 FOR LOCAL CAUSES

Country Music Festival raised a whopping €50,000 which will go to charities in the local area. The announcement was made at a volunteer stewards evening in the Westenra Arms Hotel on Friday evening last organised by the Festival committee and the Westenra Hotel.
After the meal there was a number of sport prizes and live music to dance the night away. The event provided the Festival committee an opportunity to acknowledge their appreciation to each and all who gave their time and professional knowledge freely to ensure the Festival was a success.
