Two-time Monaghan football All-Star Conor McManus cut the tape to officially open Fianna Fáil Senator Robbie Gallagher’s new Oireachtas office in Monaghan Town on Tuesday with the same alacrity which local GAA devotees hope he will display in cutting through the Cavan defence in this weekend’s much anticipated Ulster Championship clash between the two neighbouring county rivals.
