GARDAÍ and local residents, including an alert 19-years-old neighbour, saved the life of a man in his 40s from an overnight house fire in Castleblayney on Friday last.
Around 2.45 a.m on Friday morning, gardaí at Castleblayney received a report of the fire at a house in Upper Bree, Castleblayney, and of the man trapped in the house.
