Clones is set to benefit from €100,000 funding as part of Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs Heather Humphreys Regeneration Programme for Rural Towns.
The money, announced this week under her Department’s Rural Economic Development Zones Programme, will fund a number of projects in the town including the development of a new greenway / walkway along the route of the Ulster Canal bank.
