The annual Taste of Monaghan food festival should be developed to become a major regional event, one of its organisers told the launch of the 2016 event in Monaghan Town’s Market House on Monday evening.
Riona Carroll, who along with Jenny Blackburn and other members of a small committee, bears the brunt of the onerous organisational duties attendant to the annual celebration of the best of Monaghan cuisine and food production, urged other interested parties to come on board in order to realise the festival’s full potential.
