MONAGHAN ENJOY HANDBALL GLORY

St. Macartan’s College recorded one of its best ever returns at the Ulster Colleges Finals Tournament in Kingscourt on February 6, starting when Tiarnán O’Rourke (Monaghan Harps) took the juvenile (U-13&1/2) title with wins in the semi-final against Patrick Cowan of St. Colman’s, Newry and in the final against Jonathan Owens from Omagh CBS. The U-15&1/2 Singles title went to the in-form Eoghan McGinnity (Monaghan Harps).
