Monaghan Hospital has along with Cavan General Hospital been honoured with a prestigious award for participation in an Irish Heart Foundation initiative to promote healthy dietary habits.
As part of the RCSI Hospitals Group, the two medical institutions received a bronze Active@Work award for completing a self-devised, five-week health challenge supported by the Heart Foundation.
The awards were accepted by representatives of each hospital at the Healthy Eating and Active@Work awards ceremony in Dr Steeven’s Hospital, Dublin, which was hosted by the IHF.
