€1.49 MILLION RENEWABLE ENERGY INVESTMENT IN BALLYBAY

The Northern Standard has learned that €1.49 million is to be invested in a wind turbine project in the Ballybay area.
Work will begin at the Old Mill in November and is envisaged to run until May. This wind turbine plant, capable of generating 17MW of electricity for Storm Energy, will be constructed to meet the requirements of the largest value renewable energy contract of three awarded to Omexom UK and ROI.
