JOBS INITIATIVE FOR COUNTY MONAGHAN

Three government Ministers were in Carrickmacross on Monday to help drive a new jobs plan for County Monaghan and the surrounding border counties. With the Bose factory due to close at the end of May with the loss of 140 jobs, all three were anxious to stress that government agencies such as the IDA and Enterprise Ireland were attempting to find alternative employment for the highly skilled workforce.
