FERMANAGH were that bit sharper and showed a greater degree of economy in everything they did and as a result they left Clones with the two league points at the end of what was a well contested if at times scrappy Allianz NHL Div 3A encounter played in chilly conditions despite the bright sunshine.
The sunshine though was in sharp contrast to the level of hurling on offer as this was at times a very disappointing spectacle as mistakes abounded with Monaghan probably that little bit more …
