ALL STARS FITTING TRIBUTE IN GREAT YEAR FOR MONAGHAN GAA

These are heady days for Monaghan football, with six All-Star awards coming to the county last weekend.
First up on Friday, rounding off a memorable year for Monaghan’s senior footballers, Colin Walshe and Conor McManus became the first players from the county to win Opel GAA/GPA All-Star awards since Tommy Freeman in 2007. The first Ulster SFC win in 25 years was fittingly recorded by the Monaghan duo being named on the team during the ceremony at Croke Park.
