COMMUNITY DEMAND FOR ACTION ON BLAYNEY TOWN TRADE CRISIS

TOWN councillors, along with trade and community leaders, united during the past week in Castleblayney to voice an angry protest to Ireland’s largest grocery and food trading group, over a decision taken at the weekend to cease trading with prominent local businessman Mr. Jim McConnon, resulting in an overnight loss of some 55 jobs.
